Lime Broccoli Sprouts Smoothie

By Brian Copeland

This is by far the tastiest of the smoothies I have tried. My friends love this one. This is an amazing way to get your vitamins, fiber and phytonutrients. If you are scared to try smoothies then you should start with this one.

Ingredients:

  • You will need a good blender, I use a KitchenAid, some of my clients use a VitaMix which is quite pricey
  • 2 cups of cold water and ice as desired
  • 4 key limes, whole (I peeled part of the green off but left some too)
  • 1 cup of broccoli sprouts (from a health food store, similar to alfalfa sprouts)
  • Fresh spinach
  • 2 D'Anjou pears
  • 1 bananas, peeled
  • 2 cups of frozen or fresh berries
  • 1 apple (I use Granny Smith)
  • 1 teaspoons Stevia
  • 1 tablespoon of raw organic honey

Optional Ingredients:

  • 2 raw organic eggs (for protein and other nutrients, yes raw eggs are healthy)

Calories Per Serving 180 calories

  • 4 key limes = 80
  • 1 cup broccoli sprouts = 30
  • Spinach = 70

  4. Add remaining ingredients and blend till smooth

  5. You should get 5 large glassfuls out of this, drink one glass now, place the other glasses in the fridge with plastic wrap over them and drink one per day... finish them within the next 3 - 4 days
